‘Dandelion Green’ is a short coming of age film that explores the friendship of two queer foster kids Olivia and Kay. Kay, a non-binary, guarded teen, is weeks away from ageing out of the system. Olivia, a 16-year-old budding artist, acts as a support system for her mother, who suffers from mental illness. When both teens are forced to move homes again, their chance encounter in the same Toronto foster home transforms the way they envision themselves and their future.
